1.Gulab jamun is a sweet which is prepared from milk solid known as khoya in India.The word gul and ab is derived from Persian words Gol means flower and ab means(water) referring to the rose water scented syrup,Jaman is the Hindi-Urdu word of an Indian fruit which is similar to shape and size to gulabjamun.Gulab jamun is brownish red in colour.It tastes very sweet,it has a very nice aroma.And the moment ,when you put gulab jamun in your mouth,your tasted buds get amazed by sweetness of this delicious sweet item.



2.Rosogulla is one of the popular sweet from Bengal.I can bet you will find a single house where rosogulla is not eaten..Rosogulla  history is old more than a century,it was invented in the year 1868 in a small sweet shop at Baghbazar in Calcutta(present day Kolkata).Rosogulla is a white delicious item which is very spongy.it is very sweet in taste.


3:Jalebi is syrupy delight which is popular all over india.It looks golden in colour.Jalebis are spiral in shape.In Northern India,hot jalebis and hot milk are consumed at breakfast.

4.Petha is a transcluent soft sweet from North india.Petha is made from ash gourd vegetable,which is also know as white pumpkin .Agra is famous for petha ,which is known as Agra petha that is popular all over India.If you still have tasted petha ,next time give it a try,it's definitely worth it.
